We paid for a spa retreat for two, 90 minutes of treatments which consisted of a hot stone full body massage, a facial and a scalp massage, use of the fire/ice & rainforest spa and afternoon tea. It's definitely worth the money.nAll the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming & happy.nThe venue is well maintained and clean.nThe treatments were absolutely amazing, highlight of my day, to be honest. The staff are great at what they do.nThe various saunas & steam rooms were just what we needed. We tried them all during the 5 hours we were there.nThe rainforest cafe was so beautiful and the afternoon tea was very nice.nThe rainforest spa was so tranquil, and all the decor, visuals and music really added to the whole relaxation experience.n100% will return, we were given a great discount return voucher and booked up straight away - so we'll be back soon
We have been to visit Clifford's spa a few times now. There is a great range of different steam rooms and saunas, plus lounges to relax in, foot spas and jacuzzis. The massage treatments are excellent. I have previously had the hot stone massage which was lovely. Yesterday my daughter and I both had a facial and scalp massage that was so relaxing that we both nearly feel asleep! Lovely afternoon tea too! We will definitely come back, thank you!
Loved loved loved it, this was a surprise birthday gift from my daughter and I was totally blown away. The exterior is very deceiving it just looks like an old warehouse but once you step foot inside you completely blown away. Very Posh. Looking yet very calm and welcoming the extent of the rooms. The different styles, different choices. Very clean, staff constantly cleaning. Lovely people. Both staff and visitors. We didn't use the gym, the can't comment, didn't even visit but didn't have time to be fair. The time went so quickly, or session ran from 3pm till 9pm with all the choice of rooms, pools, jacuzzi's, treatments etc I had a fabulous massage from the lovely young man, my daughter had a facial from an equally lovely young lady. Afternoon tea was very nice, if a little under staffed on the day we visited. Lots of guests seemed to be booked in for the same time with only 3 members of staff. The wait for crockery was disappointing, meaning you got the afternoon tea in bits rather than all at once, somewhat spoiling the desired effect. Overall, a very pampered day and I would definitely return, just wish I lived nearer!
Central location with good parking and about a 25 minute drive from Nottingham city centre. Reception staff is friendly and the facilities is very clean, in fact the staff cleaning at various points across the day. The facilities is also fantastic - so many saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi, sets of foot spas, an ice room, and a swimming pool. The therapists are very professional with experience .
