I've been going to Daniel at Clerkenwells Hair & Beauty for four years now and have been delighted with his cuts and blow drys. He has exceptional creative talent and is always extremely friendly. He is the first hairdresser I've had who actually listens to what you want and styles accordingly. My daughter Rebecca also sees Daniel and despite having moved to Glasgow recently still visits the salon when she comes back to London for meetings. We are two very satisfied customers!
This has now become my new hair salon! It’s been a week since I had the keratin treatment, done by William. William and Daniel were so warm and welcoming. I waited to review till after my first wash, and like William said, it does look so shiny and straight, and with no frizz hurrah! Don’t need to use any product on it. Definitely worth it as it as I paid a good price, it saves a lot of time, and it can last 2-4 months. I was also told by others, that theoretically, it could eventually end up lasting up to 6 months, if you do it regularly over time. After care is also important. As advised by William, I use a sulphate free keratin treatment friendly shampoo and conditioner. It helps maintain it. I recommend this salon if you want to receive a warm and professional service, with great lasting results. I’ll see you guys next time! Thanks William! Olivia
Clerkenwells offers a wide range of services which are all done to a high standard. I especially love their eyelash extensions - best place to get them done and worth the price! Their beautician Alex is lovely and really friendly, she'll make you feel comfortable and welcome always.
The lady didn’t prep my natural lashes before she started applying the lashes which I thought was unusual and then complained when they weren’t sticking on. I expected her to be competent in her field and thus this experience was very disappointing as I had to leave without the service being carried out as she was completely clueless on how to solve the issue. I wouldn’t recommend anyone bothering to come in for individual eyelashes as she clearly doesn’t know what’s she doing! I travelled all the way and spent so much money on travel!! Worst experience and completely ruined my afternoon
I get Russian eyelash extensions at this salon and I am amazed at the outcome,they look so amazing my friends and family and others always comment how beautiful my eyelashes are.The Staff are so Friendly, I always get a warm wellcome. I cant wait for my next appointment was thinking of getting my hair done aswell as I have seen the outcome of others at this salon and there hair looks amazing.
William styled my hair today and the result was amazing.I did not have to tell him what I wanted. He just looked at my hair and started cutting. I must have had a dozen people compliment me on the way I looked after I left the salon. I have been in the UK now for six years and he is the first person who got it exactly right. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Love this hairdresser. The staff are super friendly and the decor is great - lots of colourful art and interesting furniture. They do quality work without being too pricey. Only slight niggle is that their only able to accept cash right now, until their internet gets fixed.
Best Hollywood Blowdry in all of London Town! Doesn't matter what day you've had, when you come out of Clerkenwells you always feel a million dollars! Staff always greet you with a warm smile and really know their stuff. I have used Clerkenwells for over 15 years and would never change. I highly recommend!! The Art work displayed in the Salon is Spectacular, a very stylish salon.
I go to Clerkenwell's on a regular basis to get my lashes done. Jeyda the Lash Technician always goes out of her way to fit me in. She is fast and efficient and the lashes look fabulous, they are commented on a lot!
