Great bargains to be found. You need to pop in regularly as the stock of smaller items turns over quite quickly. Cannot say how quickly the bigger items like furniture, white goods or electronics does, but there seems to be a steady stream out the door each time I have been there. Staff are always helpful and I have never had any issues with anything or anyone in the store.
Big warehouse filled with random items from Argos. There is a lot to wade through if you enjoy that sort of thing. You will have to look yourself though, because if you manage to get the attention of someone who works there which they actively avoid they never seem to have half an idea what they have unfortunately, so taking a bargain hunting buddy for another set of eyes is best. Try not to get carried away on your first visit and assume everything is a great price, but if you know what you want and what it would normally cost, you can sometimes leave with a bargain, happy hunting
It’s a bit tatty and untidy but generally clean underneath. If you think you’re going to get a serious discount/bargain then they are few and far between! It’s full of reconditioned fridges etc with dents in the panels ; A reconditioned TV was on sale at 10% off retail price with a 3 month warranty - but the kind of deal I think is a good one! The same TV new online is cheaper and has at least 12m warranty!
A really good place to visit if you need certain items. TVs, fridge, freezer, washing machines, bicycles, and a bunch of smaller bits and pieces. However, the selection can be very limited as products are stocked on a rather random basis. As far as I know, items offered are those which have been returned to Argos for various reasons such as damaged, not working, or unsuitable for the original buyer. Having said that, everything they offer is suitable for its intended purpose having been repaired by Argos staff if necessary. For these reasons, products are always offered at sometimes substantially reduced prices. Bargains can be found on a regular basis. Update - informed today that deliveries can be arranged but you have to negotiate with the driver for cost and availability. Private arrangements, nothing to do with Argos.
Been here before and they've had some massive clearance deals, but on this visit not much turned my head. Was also very disappointed that they don't accept Argos gift cards! Large car park and once you in the area, the signage to the clearance centre is very clear & easy to read.
Depends on what you are after really and not always you will find the item you look for. You will have to visit regular and keep checking as you will find varieties of quality item in a discounted price. Kids toys, push bikes and kitchenware are always stock-up.
Is basically everything what is in Sainsbury's stores around 30% cheaper. Found Bosch toaster for 35£ was 59£ in Amazon.
I am addicted to this place .bargains galore .I've bought anything from jewellery/phones TV clothing etc n I've been happy with everything .great place .toys bikes white goods furniture so much to look through. how to get a good bargain DARE TO VISIT .you WONT BE DISAPPOINTED
It very much depends on what you're looking for, and what they have for sale when you go. If you're local, I'd recommend going there often as stock changes constantly, if you're further away, don't make a special trip just for the Argos Clearance warehouse, unless you'rebiying appliances, then the trip might be worth it. Also, don't expect to be able to pass other people in the aisles if you've both got trolleys, for some bizarre reason they've made some of the aisles too narrow for this. I've given it 4 stars though, because if they've actually got what you're looking for, it's pretty freaking great!
Has some pretty good refurbished bits, but you do need to make sure you check it over before you buy. Defo worth a look if you're looking for a new appliance or TV
