I needed to buy just a few lengths of pse timber and a torus skirting board. The Staff member seemed reluctant to discuss my needs and I felt I was inconveniencing him. He then stated that they close early on a Friday which was in 5 minutes time.He also stated that as he didn't know if he had the items I wanted in stock and the yard would probably be closing the gates as we spoke. He did say that I could run down there to see if they have the items first and then presumably run back to pay for them and run back to load them and all before the 5 minute deadline? I might make it in time? There wouldn't be much time for anything that wasn't quick and easy he said, so as I'm not a sprinting athlete I didn't bother. I always vote with my feet so I wont be bothering Howarth again in the future.
