Nice restaurant and friendly staff starter was first class my madras main wasn’t the best Ive had but still nice hence the 4* Very clean and well organised I would recommend trying it out.
So found this restaurant through a recommendation and I was blown away by how friendly the staff are, the value of the food is priced brilliantly. The portion sizes are bang on right. Will 100% be returning. Thank you for a great experience and great tasting food.Food: 5/5
What can I say..been there twice now. Both times on a Sunday for the fantastic value set menu that I believe runs on a Thursday too. Great amount of food for the money and very nice service too. Would recommend and have recommended.
Myself and my husband visited your Claypot Lounge for the first time 16/2/23….. we hadn’t booked a table, we just had a spontaneous night out, as we had reason to celebrate. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was busy as they do a special offer on Thursdays and Sundays, the food was the best I’ve ever tasted for a curry house, plates, bowls were hot and the food stayed hot, portions were generous, with lovely tender meat and very tasty rice. I’ve had an excellent meal at the restaurant in the past but would never get another take away after last night’s experience. The onion Nani was flat and tasteless; the tandoori chicken Dupiaza had no heat or real spice and the cheese nan was well done and too thick with grated cheese melted on the top rather than running in the Nan bread….a very disappointing take away.
Had a lovely evening last night for my daughter's 18th. Food was delicious. Nothing was too much bother and very friendly staff. Always get delivery from clay pot too which is equally delicious. Vegetarian options: Tasty options for my son Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter who is 18 months dropped mum's mobile phone down back of chair. A member of staff kindly retrieved for us Parking: Wasn't sure if we was able to park in the spaces right outside as sign says permit. Went in and asked and it was fine to park there.
First time trying out this restaurant and it was beautiful. The restaurant is clean, the service is on point and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend dining here. It's my new favourite Indian
... Best kept secret in Burton is out. Claypot, hands down, hot and spicy, cold lager taste sensation that is the best indian restaurant in Burton town. Garlic chilli chicken with mushroom rice is impressive and is just extraordinary. Come, say hello, and be glad you got in... once you tried it, it'll be your go to. So remember, the only rule about Claypot lounge is, don't tell everyone... shh... hush, hush on the Q T.
Monday night, was very quite quiet when we were in. The waiter was very friendly & recommended dishes based on what we usually eat. He was spot on! Very good food for a very good price. It was recommended by my colleagues who come for business dinners etc and it could not have been a better recommendation.
Had a great time and curry's are brilliant using good quality ingredients .Will recommend to friends.
