Got my 18 month old baby white leather sandals shoes for my brothers wedding. Thought Clarks were good for my baby's feet. But she kept wanting me to hold her that day after a couple of hours of wearing her shoes. After lunch I had noticed she had blisters!!! My poor baby!! 😔 I tried to take them back. They were in near perfect condition only warn a few hours but the lady refused to refund me my £32 or exchange. I had my receipt and it was within 28 days. She just said they just need breaking in! I rather not let my 18 month old 'break them in!' To this day they are brand new in the box, under the stairs. It's been 2 years now. I don't go to this store anymore. I go to Manchester Fort. Much professional at handling this kind of situation instead of it shoved back at you when it's not the right fit!

I went into this branch on 18/08/2016 and I had my 2 year old son and my 7month old daughter with me. I went in to get my little boys feet measured and to buy him some new shoes. I was welcomed by a member of staff on arrival and told that I would be seen in a moment for the shoe fitting. I was served by a young lad who was very friendly and patient towards my little boy and my girl too. My little boy was upset at having his feet measured but the staff member managed to calm him down and get the measurement. In the meantime my little girl became upset as she couldn't see me anymore sat in the double buggy, so another staff member a woman offered to hold my daughter so she could see me. What started off as a stressful, embarrassing situation for me to have both my children unsettled at the same time when I was on my own, was not an issue for the staff members who treated my children like they knew them and got the job done. I came away happy, with happy children and a pair of new shoes for my little boy.

I went to return my sons school shoes, that I had purchased a month earlier, which were now damaged and ripped at the front. They were happy to exchange them, but the 3 members of staff were extremely unprofessional in dealing with each other. Undermining each other in front of a customer  and questioning the returns policy is not good conduct. Store manager was loud and brash, junior member of staff was unprofessional in dealing with the situation, only credit goes to the team leader but she was put out of place by her manager in front of other customers.
