Great experience getting our grandaughters first shoes. The lady assistant was claim, attentive and patient. Very professional service. Got two lovely pairs of shoes, very pleased with our little outing.
Very good service, tidy clean shop with great staff.
Went in to get my daughter some school shoes and there were really helpful. Also discussed about her walking over on her feet and recommended getting her seen by a GP for her waking inwards. Thank you
Dreadful. Booked online for a first shoes fitting appointment. Arrived to the appointment and the staff member was very quiet and didn’t speak to my son or even try to interact with him. He was measured which was great, I then asked to try a few pairs of shoes that I liked that were on display and the girl said she will go and see what they have available. She came out with 2 pairs of the most basic shoes they had on display they were just plain blue and told me that’s all they have. I asked if they can order any others into store for me to try and she said they can’t , they only stock a few styles in the infant shoes. What’s the point in wasting my time and making an effort to visit the shop on the high street if you are going to make me order them online to my house and then have to send them back? Why even offer the first shoes fitting as a service. And you wonder why shops are closing down because people are buying online instead. Not worth the hype at all. Will probably blame covid or Brexit. Very disappointed Went to the sketchers shop instead and bought some there !
We came in this morning with our autistic 3 year old son to get his feet measured. I explained to the first lady that he becomes very distressed during the procedure and she recommend that another lady who I think might have been the shop manager would be better doing it. Firstly, I thought it was amazing that she recognised that somebody else may be more skilled to do it in order to cause the minimum amount of distress to our so . The manager came to do it and listened to what I had to say before she approached our son. The measuring was done as swiftly as possible and this was something she is obviously very well trained in. Although he became distressed it was a lot less stressed than previous experiences. She also asked me if I would prefer to out the shoes on him when I returned, which was a very thoughtful thing to do. Whe paying for the shoes she asked me how old my son was and said that when it came to school shoes when he goes to school that I should ring ahead and she would open the shop 30 minutes early so that it was only us and her. This goes above and beyond anything that she needs to do and it actually brought me to tears. I cannot praise this lady and our experience at Clarks highly enough today. A massive thank you to this lady and her team.
All I can say is that it is a rare treat to receive such great customer service. Rebecca was patient and helpful and very professional. Can't recommend this store more highly
The manager on duty was superb! Really well organised and swift customer service and then amazing service from Josh. The team need a big pat on the back for dealing with a busy shop full but keeping calm and still serving with a smile.
I was looked after wonderfully by Brenda who showed so much patience in finding shoes she thought would meet my needs. I am awaiting a knee replacement operation and have other problems as one foot is considerably wider than the other. Brenda was amazing at weighing up what I needed and then Lisa suggested another option and they explained their suggestions. I’m delighted to say that I had a choice of two pairs which fitted really well. I’ve chosen to purchase one and wait until after my operation when I’ll come back and make further choices. As usual unbeatable service. Went in for my daughters school shoe replacements, was greeted and offered help as soon as I entered. Requested my daughters feet measured as she is in between sizes at the moment. After being measured she picked out the style she liked and the young woman went out and came back with multiple sizes and styles. My daughter picked hers and we paid. Yes they are more expensive than some of the other retailers, but the quality of service and shoes speak for themselves.
Clarks saved the day!! We had a fruitless search in David Spruce and needed some school shoes for Thursday. Clarks had a great pair of shoes in my daughter's size and width. They were nice shoes too and not the clunky ones we'd seen in the previous shop. We are very pleased.
