We went in here looking for size 10 big shoes. We tried the kids section first as it was told shoes there go up to a size ten. The staff began to measure my shoe just to be told again I'm a size 10. We looked for school shoes, no size tens but that's ok we will check in the adult section. We went down and a new member of staff greeted us and said that we have lots of school shoes for older kids. They obviously thought white trainers were school shoes. Not a fun experience, limited school shoes and staff lying.
Just went into the Southampton store to buy my son’s first shoes. Kids section is upstairs, no lift. Woman working there had an attitude when I questioned why they would set up the shop like that, and said I could just leave my pram downstairs and carry the baby up. I’m not leaving an expensive pram full of shopping in an unattended part of the shop on the main high street while she serves me upstairs. Ridiculous.
Kids section is upstairs. I came with my husband and 14 month old to get her a set of shoes. I asked if they had a lift and they said no, no offer to assist downstairs etc. Unfortunately I could not manage all those stairs so had to leave without buying anything. Not disability friendly at all - what if a child is in a wheel chair etc
Children's floor closed during trade hours for interviews. I couldn't belive that! On 24th of June 2024 served as large lady with fake eyelashes, fake nails and fake tan. Unfortunately without name badge. She was very rude and unprofessional. It used to be a very nice shop with friendly staff. I don't want to go back to that shop again becuse of that situation. Will report it to the Head office as well with more details.
I forgot the gentleman's name but the person who helped me in the store was most informative and gracious as I took up a lot of his time near closing but decided not to buy in the end... yet he offered a solution for my shoe buying needs
I have bought shoes from Clarks for years but my last experience has been very disappointing . I bought the boots one year ago and was extremely happy with them. I noticed around Xmas time that the stitching was unravelling but didn't get round to contacting them till March - when I sent them the photos they told me that as the boots are outside the 1 yr warranty period they wouldn't replace them. I couldn't believe this as I would have thought that Clarks shoes would normally last for years. Very disappointed by the quality of the boots and the customer service..Obviously not the same standard that the used to be..
We took our son here to get some new school shoes. The member of staff didn’t have a clue how to do this and two different colleagues measured two different sizes.
The selection of full and sale priced shoes was good and staff were friendly. It felt like such a shame that the children's area was upstairs though. It would work if there was a lift as I'd have been able to keep my very active toddler in her pushchair. Once out of it and carried up the stairs she was determined to explore on foot. The staff member was understanding but I was constantly worrying that my daughter would fall down the stairs so couldn't have a proper look. I'd only recommend going if you 2 adults for 1 young child.
We where seen by a lovely girl called Maddie , we came in to get our little girl meshered up for her first ever shoes now shes trying to walk we felt realy cared for she didnt mind us snaping a couple picks as we went along it sounds silly but after a long road to getting to have our own baby this was one of the experances we where realy excited for and im so glad we where cared for by maddie she was lovely and a credit to your staff On the off chance she rembers us we where the rainbo shoes in a 3g , rainbo shoes for the rainbo baby
I went into store about a month ago at my wits end because I couldn’t find a pair of shoes for a dress that I’d brought for a wedding. I went in and showed two very helpful employees the dress and they immediately knew which pair I needed to complete the look. Today I attended said wedding and wore the pair together and they were absolutely right they worked amazing. I cannot thank them enough for their help. I can’t remember their names but I wish to thank the young lady and gentleman who helped me. You guys are amazing 20/10 will definitely be back in future for further advice. Maria x
