Everything you could possibly need and more. The shop has changed hands and is massively improved with new tea shop.nIt's well set out with art products to the left on entry and wool/haberdashery and cafeteria to the left. My mine quibble is I was handed my item without it being placed in a bag. But a much better shop under the new management.nLots of parking for 1 - 1/2 hours around town.
A crafters dream, everything you need for crafting The cafe was comfortable, clean and the staff were lovely and welcoming, the cheese on toast with Worcestershire sauce was superb and the hot beef and gravy panini was excellent and they sell honey locally produced, a big 10 out of 10
I bought 4 balls of wool 4 days ago to make a scarf for my son-in-law for Christmas, unfortunately he wasn't keen on the colour. So, I've just been in to exchange, not refund, exchange for an alternate colour. The woman there, I'm pretty sure she's the owner, refused point blank, no exceptions even though she was the one to serve me four days ago. I said she could weigh it, check it do what ever she wants to ensure its condition but no, sorry, no exceptions, she said it says so on the receipt, she didn't give me a receipt at point of sale. I don't know what she expects me to have done to the wool, but, on this occasion sorry isn't good enough, that's £15 wasted on a gift I can't give. One more lost customer cos I won't be going back.
Thank you to the ladies in the knitting yarn department for helping me to choose the Autumn colours required to complete a multi coloured sweater. The recipient was really pleased to receive the gift at Christmas.
Wonderful shop, catering for the artist. Lots of products & very helpful staff. I am a motoring artist & Clark Craft frame all my work with excellent results.
