Great shop with good choice of cards for its size and some interesting gift ideas - although some of them seem a bit pricey for what they are. Friendly and helpful staff. Handy location on bridge street, just round the corner from the car park.

Brilliant, Brilliant, and brilliant, five stars does not give card talk justice, I have been looking for a lovely card for my loved one and a few others too. I have been here over the years ever since Jim ( the previous owner) ran this shop, it was a really good shop for very good quality tasteful cards. Might not be the cheapest like the big large 99p card shops in town BUT I have never seen the quality of card stock like in card talk in those establishments, they seem thin and flimsy in comparison to the ones in here. They also stock little gifts that can compliment the occasion in hand, would I go there again, yes I would, and I would recommend to others that they give them at the least a try and see the very wide selection of different areas of card like "brother in law and girlfriend/ partner / wife etc. The lists of different types of classes are vast. Good luck and best of luck with your card choice.

Don't take your children in this shop unless you've tied their hands together. Woman so rude when kids touched the cards before mum's had chance to explain to the kids ...no understanding whatsoever and very very rude. If you don't want kids to touch the cards don't let them in or get a wider shop where prams are accessible.
