Mum was a resident here following a stay in hospital for assessment. The whole experience was a very good one. Especially given the stressful situation for mum and us who live overseas. A great place. Run by dedicated and professional people who truly care. Highly recommended.

Really impressed with the exceptional care given to my mum from all the staff. Very attentive to her needs and very kind, supportive family liaison Julie who made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend to families when their loved ones need additional short term support when discharged from hospital. Thanks to all the team.

The Clarence Unit is well worth a 5 star rating!nIt is a purpose built facility with quality accommodation. Rooms are tastefully furnished and have ensuite.nCare is excellent! The staff coped superbly with mum, who arrived in a very agitated and distressed state.  They clearly saw behind the way she was presenting and genuinely wanted cake o help.nShe moved onto a nursing home in a much better state than she arrived due to the care she received.nThe staff also had time for us as a family which was much appreciated. Access to staff either on the phone or when we visited was second to none and we enjoyed eating lunch and afternoon cake.

I have just been to the amazing Christmas afternoon where everyone was warmly welcomed. We had a wonderful time singing together and playing bingo. I learnt a few things from the quiz too. Thank you so much for making it a special time for us all. An especially big thank you to Tracy for her enthusiasm and sense of fun. A very warm Christmas to you all.nSabrina x
