RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! Called and after being on hold for more than 20 mins the Liam in the benefits department did not listen to what I was asking and then when he decided that he was answering a question I did not ask he did not say sorry! 

I asked for his line manager, he said they are all out, I asked for him to take my details and he asked my why and then would not take my details! 

I had to hang up the phone....!

DISGUSTING AND I WILL NEVER CALL AGAIN NOT EVEN WORTH 1 star!!!!!

Money makers 

Not much interest when it comes to helping with customer services / requests 

Quick to enforce rules and fines but when it comes to helping and customer service the levels are shockingingly low

Girlfriend called up before was greeted with what do you want!

Never had faith / trust with this organisation

Ignore everyone's reviews with 1 star. I was born in york on 19/03/02  (16 years ago) but my opinion is the council will be open.

Where to start... They are arrogant, bullying and unfair. They hide behind bureaucracy and don't listen to the Citizens of York.Ever.

They are a law unto themselves and ruin people's lives.

A bunch of ignorant, worthless and evil staff members! They are super quick when it comes to issuing Parking Tickets, Charges and Council Tax and taking public money for their useless, inefficient, and rubbish services! There have been huge delays in collecting waste, processing customer requests, and serving the community the way they should... I'm totally disappointed from the people who work at the council.
