Established in May 2002, this is a shop to cater everyone’s taste, welcoming all old and new customers who walk through the door. Owner and Salon Director, Malcolm Tracey is a fully trained and qualified hair stylist with over 30 years of experience. His thoroughly professional style also offers a laid back sense as there are no appointments necessary, this high quality craftsmanship is offered to you, when suited to you, at anytime. At City Image, the customer’s wellbeing and satisfaction is crucial to success, because of this, City Image goes out of it’s way to supply a service that leaves you felling fulfilled every time, making you return again and again.

I tried City Image after numerous bad haircuts at various places. Malcolm immediately made me feel comfortable and definitely knows his stuff. He gave me the best haircut I've had in years.

Malcolm is hands down the best barber to ever cut my hair! Needed to find a barber while away on a business trip and to say I was impressed is an understatement! It’s just a shame that I live over 300 miles away as it’s going to be a long trip for my next haircut!

Malcolm is a true artist and he treats you with respect. Being taught with traditional style, he knows how to treat hair and cut it to perfection. He explains what he is doing and why and he is also a great chat. Not enough words can describe his mastery.
I've been coming here for the past 2+ years and can honestly say he is the best guy in town. He genuinely cares about how your hair is cut and shapes everything bespoke to you as an individual. He truely has a passion for styling and has ultimately mastered his craft. I love coming here and look forward to every visit, I know I will walk away looking fresher than anywhere else. If you're looking for a new barber/stylist then go check him out, I couldn't recommend Malcolm enough.
Found a new gents hairdresser today . What an experience. I am very fussy where I go and called Malcolm to make an appointment. I believe my hair is quite difficult to cut and he told me I have a triple crown and explained what needed doing then went to work with a razor before using scissors . Explaining what he was doing all the way through. He has almost 50 years of cutting mens hair and it really shows , not like a lot of these popping up that can’t use scissors. I will be returning in about 6 weeks Malcolm and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else it was an experience and a great haircut. Thank you.
Malcolm has cut my hair for over 20 years and always does a brilliant job. Best barber i have used and have watched him do countless other haircuts over the years always in a professional manner. Have had numerous interesting chats and laughs - hardest working business man I have ever known.
