Still waiting for our luggages after we got a text today that it has been received at 4.30pm. No update online as stated on their website. Customer service is torturing. No human to speak to when you call the company. This is a horrible company and I am appalled that BA continue to use this company with all the negative comments they have received. City Bags where are my luggage, i hope your company ain't t trying to be funny?
Absolutely shocking service. I got a text saying my bag would be delivered at 11:05pm. The driver turned up at 12:20am, didn't knock and stuck a card through the door claiming he attempted delivery at 12:05pm! Been trying to get through to the redelivery number all morning, only to get a recorded message saying they are busy before cutting me off. I cant believe BA use such a useless company to fix their baggage issues. Disgraceful
I hope you never have to deal with them. At first it all seemed fine, they sent an SMS to let me know my bag will be delivered that evening, so I cancelled some plans to be home when it arrives which was ok. Not only did it never come, I was not informed with a phone call, SMS or whatsoever. The tracking number they provided was not working either. So I sent them an email asking the whereabouts of my belonging. They said an accident had happened and the van had to be towed, which is understandable though odd that they don't alert you in such cases. Then confirmed my luggage will be delievred this evening.I've just received a message saying it'll be delivered between 2-4pm instead and it's alreay midday, so not only do they assume I' around and I cna be home in 2 hrs they also assume I can take timeoff work in short notice. As they ignored my point about the tracking number in my first email I cannot reschedule either. And of course, there's no phone number provided on their 'contact' page, so you have to send an email and hope they'll reply at their convenience. The worst service ever.
I saw only bad reviews on the internet so I was VERY worried that I would never see my bag again....but I was wrong. As soon as they received my bag from British air they delivered to my address within 24 hours. My luggage came back without any damage. The bag got delivered 30 minutes later than estimate but the customer service representative responded to my email within minutes to reassure me that the bag will be delivered. It is indeed true that they only respond during business hours but if you contact them during business hours they respond to your emails right away. The representatives were not especially nice but they answered all of my questions and concerns.
Looking at other reviews, maybe I got lucky but I enjoyed a fast, efficient service from City Bags. My bag delayed from Miami on the Fri night / Saturday morning flight. It arrived in the UK on Sunday morning, was with City Bags by 2:45pm and with me by 8:30pm the same day. I was called well in advance of delivery and the driver arrived on time and was friendly & polite. Their website was kept more up-to-date with the status of my bag than the luggage tracing company's!
After 72+ hours of stress and my bag finally being located, I received notification that the courier had collected my luggage and it would be delivered the same day over 150 miles away. I was given a 2hr slot and admittedly my house is hard to find. With 15 minutes to go my doorbell rang and my faith was restored. The chap was from City Sprint and said we would have called my mobile if he couldn't find the house. I cannot fault their service as I had a good experience.
After waiting 48 hrs for the airline to get the luggage to City Bags they delivered it within 4 hours. After reading the reviews I thought it was going to be another 48hrs! The delivery guy was polite, friendly and fast! I was relieved that this company on this day far exceeded the service offered by the Airlines.
Did not follow through with committed times. Made their inability to deliver the customer’s problem. Finally got luggage after calling the airline to help enforce delivery. Website has no contact phone number. Only an email. They did not respond to emails. They make a simple task very hard. I would give zero stars if possible. Airlines need to figure out a better subcontractor for delivering luggages.
My bag missed the changeover at Atlanta and did not arrive with me at London Heathrow on Sunday 19th May 2019. I was told by a Delta representative that my bag was a few hours behind me and would be delivered same day by CityBags. After reading reviews when I got home, I was really worried that I would have problems, but my bag did arrive same day and although the bag was a bit scuffed, all of my contents were fine and nothing was broken. My only criticism would be that there weren't many status updates, which added stress after reading the poor reviews. But to anyone worrying about where their bags are - CityBags did deliver mine same day. It's hard to get in touch with them, but if you call CitySprint, they can help as they own CityBags.
Our luggage was delayed from Casablanca to London due to very short connection and arrived in LHR after 2 days. The news of our bags arrival to their depot was the ‘first’ text message we received from city bags with literally no proactive communication from airlines ! We also received regular text message updates from City bags & on line tracking also worked well. We were bit sceptical about them after reading the reviews but their service was fast & efficient. We got our bags safely within 20 hrs of getting first text message, which is almost 3 hrs drive from LHR. I did not have to contact them for anything, very pleased with their service.
