Hey this is the best Indian restaurant in Lewisham by far that I definitely recommend. I ordered egg rice, aloo gobi, saag paneer, tarka daal and cheese naan with a papadum as a side. It tasted spicy, exotic and delicious like it feels he cooked this with love and luxury. Thank you for the night Bengal Brasserie!
Has been my local for over 10 years, But never again. Looks a lovely meal until closer inspection, Fresh food prep daily i have allways been informed, Have a look at the 2nd photo and please tell me these spuds are fresh ??? Such a shame after 2 mouthfuls i had then noticed this... Our romantic takeaway KILLED. Phoned and had to wait for the manager to respond, The response was the potatos go black when being cooked and did not want to know. 3 hours later he got his food back and got some money refunded by a young chap Not the Manager. Well after all these years service to this business and the manager hiding away goes to show you what your loyal service and good tips are worth to this restaurant. I had never bothered checking my food from here, But would recommend you do. As i would never again. Order the Bombay Bad Potato or Aloo Bad Gobi, Good for 2 days off work and extreme weight loss Without being too crude. So too round up, The manager is very friendly until you have a problem, then becomes a complete Wally about food prep Fresh Food Daily ?, I was not intending to post this but is only fair the locals residents should know what to check for before eating a meal from here. After this had occured 2 local shops were saying how quite they have been for a while aswell...Cutting corners with food, Sorry not for me. Well check the photos again before you place an order and good luck. You need it...
Indian Restaurant serving the "old favourites" plus many specials. This is one of the best Indian restaurants locally. The food is always freshly prepared, full of flavour and nicely cooked.
My first visit to the bengal, not much of a selection, but what they have was very tasty, and of good quality, prices are reasonable, I will definitely visit again, service was excellent I can recommendFood: 5/5
Very nice food it was brilliant. I recommend Bengal brasserie to all.
I had a great evening here! The vibe was very warm and the chicken tikka masala was amazingly good!!!
Having regularly ordered from this place for a long time now, I was disappointed in the last order I received which gave me food poisoning. : such a shame that their quality control seems to have gone down now. Sending out food that has gone off is not acceptable. Please do better. I’m not sure if I’ll order from them again.
Been here several times over the years and has always been excellent. Very tasty food with an excellent price point and friendly staff. Would recommend
Was lovely as the old management is changed. Try the lovely food with nice atmosphere.
First visit and made to feel very welcome. Only a few people eating in, which was a shame as it's quite a large place, but it was doing well on takeaway and delivery so perhaps post-Covid people will venture back. Great food, and you can take your own alcohol for £6 corkage. Three meat dishes, three veg side dishes, two rice and one naan came in at about £44 and taking our own wine meant it was under £50 for good food that fed four people.
