A good movie theatre. I had a good experience here. The only problem is sound, the sound quality was not that great. Most of the movies these days are made using technologies like Dolby Atmos. But sadly, I couldn't experience it in this theatre. All the other aspects were great. The seats were clean and the customer service was also great.
Screen 6's heating is broken, so if you go to this cinema make sure you're dressed to sit in a sauna for 2+ hours. I usually love a cozy room, but it was so hot I was sweating and couldn't wait to get outside. It's a shame because I do otherwise like this cinema, it's decor is great and staff are lovely. They just need to work on fixing the stuff that's broken.
Unlimited member so I go quite frequently. Bar area is always closed which is a real shame however it may be too quiet to be worthwhile opening. Good food/drink variety. Pleasant staff. It needs an update from Cineworld itself it isn’t like the newer cineworlds but it’s clean + decent quality.
Good seating and overall cinema experience. However, the audio broke down and was muffled during the final third of the movie which was disappointing. At first, I thought the muffled sound was intentional due to the actions during the movie but it persisted until the end. And snacks are overpriced. This was during Avatar: The Way of Water 3D in Screen 6.
Spacious and clean. Plenty of parking and no stairs so disabled access is good. Food and drink inside is as per usual cinema fare, there's also a Nano's and a McDonalds within 100m if that takes your fancy. Overall, very positive.
At the time of writing Cineworld may be on the way out and this cinema exemplifies why. I mean you cant force people in but none of their facilities were fully functional, the café was closed and it was like a giant mausoleum. We were not only the only people in our screen but the only people in the whole building bar staff!
Film was good, staff were friendly however inside the cinema screen 8 was absolutely roasting and made it quite uncomfortable to sit there, even the children were moaning it was to hot!!!
40min advertising + traillers... kids were bored and wanting to go home by the time the movie started... 2:20pm session, movie started at 3pm, unbelievable, never again!
No heating in cinema was quite cold .meanwhile staff were milling about in the foyer nice and warm.Not the best .heard quite a few people complaining .
Comfortable seats and it was a good temperature ..Have been at the Douglas cinema and the temperature was very cool had to wear coat .The sound was good the Douglas cinema had to put in ear plugs .
