Went to a staff Christmas party here and I have to say, it's a small place but it felt great. The bowling lane we had lane 4 kept breaking. It did take staff some time to fix this, we had to move lanes but each time it took 5-10 minutes to sort, would have been nice if they communicated why it was breaking so we could avoid it happening again and again so that we didn't take more time away from the staff serving at the bar to fix our lane/s. Not sure how many people work there normally but I saw 4 people there at a busy Christmas party.
Great little venue that took me back to my childhood! We only visited by chance as it's quite hidden away, but had a great hour. Clean venue and not too noisy. The lanes were well kept and I liked that the pins fell normally unlike some of the bigger chains that have them picked up like puppets on string. Definitely affects how many go down!
Come here with my grandchildren when they're visiting me. Staff always friendly & helpful. Always tickets available for films. Good clean toilets. Disability lift. Nice seating area upstairs. Downsides.... Ice skating rink is small. Food & drink very pricey!!! Member of male staff said f**k quite loudly next to my grandchildren & me!
Was fantastic, both my children loved the day and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! One staff member named Liam Birch I think was great with my children and always on hand to help, above and beyond hence why I took his name to leave a fantastic review, we will definitely be visiting again!
In screen 2, there is a really distracting problem with either the screen not being clean or the projector lens contamination. - A light grey speckled effect evident when the screen illuminated fully white/bright. My TV screen is better. The seating is poor too, does not recline and leg room inadequate.
No stars I'm afraid. Avatar was absolutely brilliant. However, the venue was unheated and bloody freezing! And the film was 3 hours long! Will have to think hard about recommending this cinema to anyone!
Had fun but the ice skating was really poor, overcrowded and overpriced! the ice was like skating on corrugated roofing as it was very poorly maintained and dangerous! The ice is not looked after, The rink was very small and there were too many people to skateh safely. We were very disappointed to pay over £30 for 2 skaters when our local rink is only £8.50 per skater for a high quality Olympic sized rink. Sorry but you need to do better
Not the best! Equipment kept breaking down impacting on our bowling. Told that Tesco colleague discount applied the evening before going to watch a film to be told on the day that the offer no longer applied and hadnt for a long time! Staff friendly enough but not a good experience for uttoxeters only family entertainment venue!
Disgusting. This place stuck in the 80's. The Ice-skate area is dirty, the rented ice-skate is the cheapest, 20 years old ones. The ice is terrible, specialy next to the wall all around. The bowling area is not working, only 2 out of 10... The game machines is out of order... only 1 worked. Expensive experience for this joke. We left after 10 minutes. Of course they didn't offer any refund.
Great fun on the ice. It's not the biggest pad in the world but it had some of the nicest staff! Go and learn to play ice hockey, I dare you!
