Close to a four star, although the service let the evening down slightly. Staff were friendly, however the drinks order took 20 minutes and one side dish was missed. Lovely, comfortable indoor setting.
Had a stunning king prawn in a garlic and chilli oil to start. For a main I had an amazing seafood risotto. Great service and great food.Food: 5/5
We visited as a party of 4 last Friday evening. The food was delicious however our evening was totally spoiled by the terrible service. We had to ask for menus, then ask to order. Our food came relatively quickly however our plates were left sitting on our table for over half an hour, with staff constantly walking back and forth past our table. We had to ask for the dessert menu, which was eventually brought over by a waiter, who still didn’t clear our plates. The staff seemed far more interested in prioritising the people coming in to collect take aways, rather than the guests dining in. To reiterate, the food was delicious but service dreadful. We will not be returning.
What a lovely experience! The staff were very pleasant and helpful! The kitchen staff was amazing too and catered for anything needed. 10/10 for the fluffy pancakes as they were DIVINE. Would highly recommend, thank you for your helpfulness aleksandra and barbra cannot wait for my next visit Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian meals to choose from. Jan 2020 - revisit which is always a positive sign....but still a bit odd. Not much change from last time. Food was good - tasty and decent portions, so would be 5 star for meal. However, service was weird again....one really friendly waiter, the other was really grumpy and rude - I think it was the same person as last time. Also a very strange smell across the whole restaurant that smelt a bit like toilets. Despite the food being lovely, I am not so sure we will return again. Jan 2019 - Good food and ambience in general. Busy on a Thursday evening in January which is positive. The service was a bit odd. We were welcomed with the greeting, 'your table is not ready 10mins early would you like to sit somewhere else ie by the toilets'. Not really but we didn't have a lot of choice. Food was delivered with a slam which kids thought was v funny....weird.
The staff are delightfully friendly, and offer you service with a smile, even if you are just ordering a cup of coffee. The shelves are laden with authentic Italian food that can be purchased at the front counter. From Pasta to antipasti and olive oil, you can find something delightful to take home and cook. If you prefer to have something in-house. There is mouthwatering array of food to suit every pallet, be it pizza or pasta that you are looking for, or just a coffee with some tasty treats. If you love genuine Italian food, then this is most definitely the place for you to come and dine. It is also licensed to sell alcohol. All Italian of course
Very satisfying food. We enjoyed a couple of plates of pasta here. We really liked the atmosphere of the place and everything was better than expected, much nicer than a ‘standard italian’
Fabulous little restaurant with authentic Italian food and really friendly staff. Highly recommend the beef shin ragu, it was sensational.
