Hate to leave a negative review about a book shop but the staff were quite rude to me and had quite a superior attitude. Books are over priced in my opinion but that's probably a reflection of the area. Nice to see a book shop is popular though with the increasing move to kindle and ebooks.

I never leave this shop without an armful of books. Always an excellent selection of fiction the only books I browse and the staff are all wonderful and friendly.

Nice and intimate second hand book shop with friendly staff. There is a bit of every, a little of lot I would say. Worth a ponder.

It's a little scruffy around the edges but, for the prices, the selection of second-hand books here is the best in Stoke Newington. I especially like the bargain £1 box - there seem to be plenty of book reviewers who live locally, so you can often find recent literary hardbacks in there, too.
