Over 25 years we have been coming here. The food is always of a high standard but the very best thing is the service. The staff big shout out to Eddie have made my son feel special since the age of 3, he's now 18 and they still remember him and make a fuss of us all. I cannot recommend highly enough.
We've been coming to Chung's for 30 years or more and the food is always excellent. The staff are attentive, efficient and a really lovely, caring team. Can't recommend highly enough.Food: 5/5
Lovely meal as always but no or little heating in restaurant meant we needed to keep coats on or feel cold. We understand the costs of heating but it spoilt the experience and we can't go again on a winters night under those conditions.
My husband & i have been coming here for 20yrs, weve never had a bad meal ever, everything weve ate is cooked to perfection, in the pics is sizzling lamb in satay sauce, steak Cantonese style in birds nest, spare ribs in Cantonese sauce, spring rolls & special rice, the staff are so friendly, . Thoroughly enjoyed my evening at the Chungs of Mapperley restaurant for my mate's 21st birthday. From the lemon chicken to the sweet and sour fish, it is up there with some of the best Chinese food I have had. The service was very quick, the staff were helpful and it was a really pleasant experience that complemented the delicious food. Couldn't have asked for a better evening, very grateful to the chefs, staff and the restaurant owners for making it happen. Highly recommend it to anyone!
A fantastic meal celebrating my stepmum 60th birthday, the family are well known to the owner who always excels in fantastic service and amazing food , always fresh and fantastic flavour particularly the wings which were beautiful and could eat over and over again.
