An ex-church now cared for by volunteers and the churches conservation trust, this is a lovely reflective space.

One of the quirkiest venues I have been to. An ex-church now open to infrequent performances, including Peter Hook first ever playing all of Joy Division's songs (all 3 hours of it) in their native Macclesfield. The Wikipedia entry is slightly exaggerating (you cannot fit 1,800 in; it's much cosier) and the programming is haphazard but do look out for it. When it's on, it's on!
