Story

Underneath the pyramid roof, behind the new furniture shop and opposite the bus station. This busy building is more than a place of worship. Purpose built for community use, we are home to many groups.

Christ Church is both the Methodist and United Reformed Church in Uxbridge. We have one membership and are part of both denominations.

Mission

Our mission statement is as follows:

"The purpose of Christ Church is to bring the love of God to the heart of Uxbridge by being a worshipping, caring community which accepts people as they are and helps them live life to the full."

Our founding vision for this church is to be a place of care in the urban community of Uxbridge, because as Christians that is our challenge.

By offering a safe and comfortable place to the community, we believe we begin to share God's call to wholeness, justice and peace for all.

Nice church hall with welcoming and helpful staff. Don't leave the car overnight or too long or you'll get a fine.

We went there for a course . Found it very close to Uxbridge station so easy to get to The building was clean toilets also. Room we had the meeting in was ideal for 20 people , but could have been a bit larger when we did exercises, but we managed , Found going there enjoyable, and being so close to two shopping centres really convenient, one has a M&S and TK Max amongst many others and a market on certain days , while the other complex has a Debenhams , Lidel, Boots . also many more, a very convenient area to get to.
Nice modern build of church makes it a very capacious community centre for countless groups and it's home to a lively worshipping group. Pyramidal roof spire a distinctive feature visible from high street. Church engaged with Churches Together in Uxbridge. Methodist / United Reformed denomination.
Christ church is wear I go to do Yoga once a week for beginners started just before Christmas. Love love it it was only a hour group was small but would go again and do it every week felt good.
Lovely church! Friendly congregation! Service was good too.
