Went there for lunch for the first time, the place itself and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing but the food and the service were disappointed. When we arrived we waited to long to be seated even the place wasn’t busy but it was very hard to get staff attention, we walked to the bar and the asked us to set wherever we like and they will bring the menu. We sat in the back but 15 minutes passed and we still waiting for the menu so we had to go back to the bar and pick it up ourselves. We ordered pancakes, nachos and egg royal. The pancakes were so basic and didn’t taste fresh, the cheese in the nachos had a weird taste but the egg royal was good. Found it expensive for the food quality.
I decided to drop in and get a cocktail here in the morning to kill some time before heading to the Vagina Museum nearby, and had a pleasant experience. Their cocktails are £9, standard London prices, but reasonable for the quality - the Horchatita pictured is very tasty! The staff here are also very friendly and the place was clean and quiet at this time.
Nice little coffee shop selling good quality coffee and food. Friendly service. Good relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Right next to the tube station entrance and next to the park. I would recommend
Not so good experience with the staff. Not so accomodating for tourist like us. Not smiling and they answered our questions as if we dont need to ask. We were there "early morning" 09:30am so not a good start in a beautiful London. Weve been to different restaurants in London and this is very different. Btw we are Happy with the young man with a short dark hair working, seems new, BUT he is much better than the lady in the cashier and the guy who seems "somebody" maybe the owner. He was service oriented and accomodating. But the others!? Jeeee. The food is good thoughWe like the presentation also. If you're in London to have a good day? Dont start it here. Not recommended! I have more to tell you on my vlog.
We booked this place through the events manager Andrea and the experience was exceptional! All the planning was made with such ease that we just had to turn up on the night and have the time of our lives. The rooftop terrace is amazing and the staff are just the best. All my guests had a fantastic time, the canapés were presented beautifully and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful in making sure all our guests were happy. We celebrated a birthday party and thanks to all at Chiringuito it was the most memorable and amazing night! Fab food, great music, beautiful venue and wonderful staff Will definitely be using again for future events.
We went there just once and I don't think we will come back. It was raining and the place was almost empty just one table with a family having breakfast. We had about 20 min to kill before going to a market a few blocks away and since it was raining and my partner left the house without having breakfast, we thought it would be nice to spend those 20 min there while he was eating something. We arrived and seated ourselves, which we don't mind. Then one of the staff member brought some menus. A few min passed and two guys entered the place, got seated and served within minutes. We were still waiting to be asked what we were going to have. My partner ended up walking to the bar asked for a hot chocolate to go. The hot chocolate was ok according to my boyfriend but honestly 3 people were behind the bar and no one were even attempting to served us. The idea was to also eat something but by the time we left, more than 20 min passed and we needed to be somewhere else. So go with time and a lot of patient. Or just go somewhere else.
Just visited here randomly and was happy to find I came here in time for brunch. Bruno the waiter was EXCELLENT in his customer service and made sure my experience was excellent. The egg royale I ordered was tasty and satisfying, so thank you to the chef! Will definitely recommend here and thank you to Bruno!!
Had an absolutely fab time here for a joint birthday party. Had the entire rooftop terrace which can open and close depending on the weather, with our own bar & BBQ. The staff were super helpful and really accommodating so highly recommend
Huge fan of Chiringuito! I've celebrated multiple birthdays here. The food and the cocktails are delicious and the staff lovely. Always love taking people here.
We went here for our friend’s engagement party and the atmosphere and vibe was good up until the point some guy must be the owner came and confiscated one of the whiskey bottles we had outside in the front porch area which we bought from the bar. When we asked why is he taking it very arrogantly stated that this bottle was not bought from here even after I showed him the receipt i kept. That bottle was taken and never seen again, but since we just wanted to have a good night without any drama we just let it be however i advise anyone and everyone to think twice before going to this place ran by untrained staff and super rude and arrogant owner. 1/5
