I think they serve the best food in festival Leisure Centre with reasonable prices. Their service was good and the atmosphere is quite nice. If you don't hate spicy food you will like this place.

I am 22, nearing 23 and have been served alcohol in Chiquitos multiple times. However, today I was denied by a new man behind the bar, despite holding a valid US driving license, which has not been a problem as a form of ID in any restaurant, club or other venue I have entered. This man argued that I needed a passport because HE was told that he needed his and not a driving license in the past. Well that sucks for you, but it isn’t how the UK works today. The other woman working there even recognized us and has served us before, yet this man refused me today. My friend and I usually go here a lot, but I now will tell all my friends not to bother going here. They also have no seating for those only using the bar.

Complained about my luke warm Burrito, and had it replaced by another luke warm Burrito. Won't be going back there!

If grunting waiters, dirty glasses/cutlery, and overpriced “food” with hair in it is your thing, then look no further. Chiquito in Basildon has it all. If I could give no stars then I would have. Awful place. Avoid.
