My last review was removed despite being factually correct. My experience of this dealership has been appalling. Staff are rude and uninterested. I once asked about the fuel efficiency of a vehicle, a pretty standard question and was told if I had to ask I couldn’t afford it. I decided to give them a second chance today and was met with more disorganised and rude staff. Would avoid at all costs as there are alternatives. Kia at Bath were so helpful and friendly in comparison.
We’ve just purchased a nearly new car from the used car dept at Chippenham Motor Co. and our experience was very smooth from start to finish. Mo was super friendly and not pushy like some places. Thanks guys!
Went here again for car service which was carried out ok as usual been getting my leased and warrantied cars done here for years now my only real gripe is that they disconnect the dashcam and put a note on the invoice "disconnect for GDPR purposes " are they protecting their own staff ? And why don't they re-connect at the end of the service
Avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service. Dropped of car for a pre-booked service only to be told that they could not do it because of a stock check!? Manager was "too busy" to see me. They did not care that I was left severly out of pocket due to wasted 40 mile round trip, loss of earnings, taxi collection etc. because they were unable to walk next door for a bottle of oil! A phone call would have been nice!
Nobody could be bothered to show us round any options but instead just told us about the waiting list, the lack of price protection and how much the last sold car went up in price by. When asked about having a quick look about a particular vehicle advertised on their website we were told it was unavailable as it was being cleaned. Wouldn't have bothered us at all, just wanted to see it in the flesh seeing as we'd just drove all this way. When asked to view another car, instead of finding the right person, the receptionist sent Jo blogs over who basically said sorry, don't know anything about this one, can't open it for you as it's not even my department! Felt like the staff here could not care less nor be bothered with providing useful information, rather then trying to fob us off the property with remarks about lead times and prices. I've been treated better I macdonalds.
Purchased two cars a couple of years ago which was great. Now back for two more. Chelelle has been more than helpful. Great service.
I bought my car from chippenham motor company and traveled from Motherwell Scotland . it was all done and agreed over the phone including my trade in .I am a honest person and was looking for the same in return which i got in abundance. The sales person Jack Meech was so Professional and honest with the way he handled everything for me it was a no brainer to travel down and do the deal. I am 66 years old and have bought numerous cars in the past some of which were quite stressful! dealing with some of the sales people and the jargon used.but not chippenham motor company thanks to Jack Meech. Delighted with my purchase and would strongly recommend Chippenham Motor Company.
This is the second car that I have purchased from and both times it has been the most professional service. You are not pressured at all in buying a car and you definitely feel like a valued customer. On this particular occasion it was Craig that sold me my new car. He was excellent from start to finish, especially if I had any questions on anything. I will definitely recommend Chippenham Motors to anyone looking for a new car and especially Craig as a salesmen.
Always the best service from the sales team! Jack is very helpful and took his time on handover to show me my new car. This is my 3rd car from them and 5* service all the time.
Great people and service. Looked after as customers should be. Great cars to choose from.
