Nice food as always, just feels saving on products to keep same prices. Egg and rice, wasn’t feeling egg as before, for three portions of spring rolls received only one portion of sauce, and didn’t felt veggies inside..and no more extra’s when ordered over £30.
Absolutely Disgusting!! Just spent £27 on a take away, got it home a few minutes after collecting it. It was freezing and tasted vile. Previous order a few months ago was lovely. For some reason I had a pile of scrambled egg in my chow mein. Both dishes were greasy, tasteless and the worst we've ever experienced from all the Chinese take aways we've had over the years from various places. Rung them up and they offered me replacement food. No thank you, my partner is throwing up as I'm writing this, we want nothing to do with them ever again.
Wonderful food. Absolutely delicious. Delivered by a pleasant driver, much faster than expected on a Saturday night. It's been a while since we ordered, but we will be back very soon. Thank You China Star
Don't go there food is appalling if you like sitting on toilet it's OK but never again revolting food they should be ashamed
The only food I eat here is house special in garlic and chilli very good the rest is not to my liking
absolutely disgusting the food was slimmy and had just been reheated the noodles wernt cooked phones then and they told me to fetch it back even though i had a delivery went back for them to offer me to have it cooked again but because it was disgusting totally put me off so asked for my money back so ignorant and basically just give me my money back didn’t speak didn’t say sorry nothing i will never eat there again would have had food poisoning
Would order again. It’s great that they let you customize your order. This is half of the omelette and chips.
Very expensive for what you get. Also made my partner and I quite unwell the next day. Won't be getting a takeaway from here again.Food: 2/5
Had to give 1 star as there was no option of 0 stars. Rang 19:45 to place my order, was told 1 hour maybe 1 hour 10 mins delivery time. No problem. The time passed so I rang 21:12 to check on the order, was told mine was the next out and they were running behind but was assured food would soon be here. These things happen and it’s a Saturday night. Rang again 21:56 to cancel order after giving up on them, they stumbled on words making excuses and offered to do the food half price but I said to cancel anyway. The driver turned up 15minutes later it is a 12 minute journey from the Chinese to my home in the car so I sent it back after already cancelling. The delivery driver was lovely and understanding and she was the only person I can actually give credit to in this situation. Unfortunately cannot comment on how the food tastes as after waiting 2 and a half hours for a delivery we didn’t get to sample it but I have never ever had such a let down when ordering food. Was the first time ordering from here and had hoped it would be our new go to but now I will be strongly discouraging anybody to order from here.
Just tried this takeaway tonight for the first time as our local one was closed for the evening. We will now be a customer of China Star from now on. Excellent food quality, amazing portions and a polite service from start to finish with a friendly delivery driver. Well done !!
