We visited China Red for a meal with friends. The restaurant is well decorated with lots of good touches like the koi pool and spacious dining area. There are lots of food options available on the menu and also a really good value for money set menu option for sharing.nnI had the crispy chilli chicken with egg fried rice, and it was really tasty and perfectly cooked. Often with crispy chicken dishes, other chefs can go overboard with the oil and sauces, and it becomes a big soggy and chewy but not at China red it was just right.
We visited China Red last night to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it! It is excellent value for money at a time when so many places give less for more! We had a lovely time thank you China Red and please carry on as you are! Best wishes Helen
We visited on May bank holiday Monday our usual places were closed so decided to give this a try. At the time we thought the food was ok and quite tasty, but unfortunately we were both unwell in the night and still feel queasy the next day. Perhaps it’s an ingredient we’ve not eaten in a Chinese meal before that’s the culprit but safe to say we won’t visit again. It’s also really put us off eating Chinese food again The prices were quite steep too.
First time customer here,just want to say fantastic food delivered to us last night ,it was all amazing, delivered within 40mins at a peak time on a Friday night which I thought was very good, most takeaways take up to a hour and half on busy nites.Also very generous with freebies if you spend over certain amount. Order over £30 free chicken wings big portion and Prawn crackers this is fantastic, especially when some chinese takeaways no longer give prawn crackers free anymore for any amount you might spend,because they say oil to fry them in is too expensive and the gas to cook them is too expensive so no longer free,keep up the fantastic work chefs your doing a great job.
Came here yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed it!nnWhen booking a table via Facebook, they responded very quickly and sent me a copy of the banquet menu upon request. Very good online communication!nnThe banquet is fantastic value since the portions are huge!nnEvery course was flavourful and very quick service too!nnI would certainly return!nnThank you for our fantastic experience China Red.
