Nothing to shout about.Staff pleasant,service good,food typical of pub chain food so not the place for a special occasion but ok if you want a night off from cooking.Prices are stardard of chain food.
Foolishly booked a table for just after a big football game. Place was a riot. TVs were blaring at 500 decibels for a good half an hour after the match had finished, presumably the staff were all running around trying to tidy up the millions of used glasses and didn't have a spare second to think.nI ordered the lasagne, which was a poor choice. It was worse than getting one from a wetherspoons - small, microwaved, with a couple of slices of garlic bread and a salad that was a couple of days from fresh
It's always a busy place as it has a decent menu and we just managed to get enough seats from various places in the pub to add to an empty table for the four of us.nnWe didn't eat as we only made our way across from the other side of the town to be closer to the bus stop as our Sunday bus service finishes early.nnIf we miss it, it's close on £30 for a taxi to take us across the river Wyre and home.nnFast and friendly service at the bar.nnLots of TVs around the wall showing various sports, which can be a bit restrictive for conversation between people in mixed groups. But there was overall a friendly atmosphere.nnKeep an eye open for the daily Special menu. Reduced prices on the menu option, but it's separate from the main menu so you may need to hunt one down off another table - or ask at the bar.nnWe had the curry on a previous visit which worked out at very good value for money on the daily special.
Amazing visit with my partner and little girl for a drink. Friendly staff and great prices. Dog friendly to and the food looked excellent. Will definitely be back.
The meal was excellent, the service by Louise was excellent. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value meal in an excellent environment
