Went to use the driving range with my son. Was pretty decent although only a few automated bays on the lower level, one of which was broken. Have a shop but there's only really balls and tees for sale. Would be a great place if it got a little update and modernization. Haven't played the course lately, to comment on that.
Played this course with a group of friends and utterly enjoyed the whole experience. The people at the course were friendly and helpful, the course was in extremely good condition, the bar and food was very good. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Not sure why the last reviewer only gave 1 star but as can see the prices for balls at the driving range are really quite good
Attended for the 1st time and used the driving range. Very helpful, friendly staff and great range at a good price. Will definitely be back
I use the driving range here. I like it because it's just an old school driving range. The course is decent too, the front nine has some water on some of the holes which adds a little danger to the proceedings. Quite good value, I personally prefer the Muni at Southampton sports centre.
The golf range is amazing, the price is quite low compared to others. It only cost £5 for 100 balls Student Rates. If you would like to improve your golfing skills, there are some professional coaches to guide you it is not free. The only bad thing about the golf club is their location and accessibility. If you are not driving, it is very difficult to reach there, unless you take a taxi or Uber cost around £10 from University of Southampton
Best course for friendliness and caring staff. Could not recommend it higher.
Clubhouse staff very helpful, course itself is well looked after and good to play on. Course Marshall needs people skills and to learn how to talk to people without being rude and in your face. Thinks he owns the place and what he says goes. Over than him it’s a great course
Greens not bad fairways good, rough could be trimmed
The course is lovely and the new food service they have is fabulous
