Been in recentley since they had a refurb, back to good all days with hygiene score is back on 5* and good food. Store looks good clean and fresh.after long time i came to Coventry chicken cottage with my family I enjoyed lot very good food and pleasant
One of the worst foods I have been too. Wings are smelling badly poor quality and the old man with small beard is completely un hygiene he uses same hand for itching his face and serving food. Fries were rock solid and salty. I highly recommend not to go this restaurant if you concerns about your health
Horrible customer service and the food to match it, I saw a worker cooking chicken fillet in oven and then throw it on grill for a minute to give it burn marks, very cheap batch which sticks to your teeth. Hope they didn't spit in my food for pointing it out
I did tried their 1/2 grilled chicken but as it seems all the chicken breast is carefully carved out and only bones are served . Inorder to hide it they pour large amount of so called spice over it . Literally I paid for eating bones absolute scam these people are doing on the half grilled chicken. I dont know how these people get away doing such nasty things even from the leg piece most of the chicken was not there. Horrible experience never going there again.
The staff was very supportive and well mannered. I had some peices of fried chicken and wings. Those was very delicious and crispy. I will visit again whenever I be in the Coventry again.

The spicy chicken fillet burger is 10/10 Edit: original review I left was 5* however since my food last night I’ve taken 2* away; this is because they now use a new batter on the wings which is like a homemade soggy fish batter, the previous crunchy chicken seasoning was WAY better & had crunch and loads of flavour, the chicken fillet burger which I previously gave this place 5* for was soggy and not spicy at all as requested and also seems like a different batter. Sadly a rare bad experience from this place.
