I visited today in my capacity of a Nurse Specialist. I inadvertently ended up spending most of the day at Chatsworth Grange through no fault of the staff there. I have given a 5 star rating following my visit today. I was impressed with the facilities and the cleanliness of the home, and how tastefully furnished it was. The residents seemed happy and the chap I saw clearly felt safe and comfortable at Chatsworth Grange. I was particularly impressed with Janice I spent the most time with her - the other members of staff on duty also left me with a good impression. Janice knew everything about all her residents in depth, and was there when I needed her. She was extremely professional and a credit to the profession. I don't often say this but I look forward to my next visit. Well done to you all.
My Mum was discharged from hospital into Nursing care at Chatsworth care home in August 2017. She is very poorly in the final stage of Alzheimer’s so needs all care. The care she is receiving is inspirational I visit the home early morning after work and at around 7pm she is receiving care that is lovely to see. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Mum is very safe and in a caring environment clean and comfortable with all her needs met by qualified and all care staff. I love visiting Mum if she is sleeping she is always clean checked constantly and care staff always put her music on. I work in a management role in the NHS and have do so for 30 years. This home is cleaned to a high standard and The management team are so kind and patients focused. The care staff and Nurses are highly trained and very knowledgeable of care in the elderly and dementia. The home is also being upgraded. Sadly my Mum is very frail and coming to the end of her life I feel the care Mum is receiving by such caring staff makes one of the hardest times in my life much easier. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all care staff Domestic staff and the management team not forgetting the very helpful care handy man for all your inspirational care for Mum and support for us as a familynOn the 4 December Mum passed away peacefully free from pain her end of life care was outstanding she was so well cared for by dedicated inspirational staff. My Mums last weeks of life were so special and cared for beautifully I have put a picture on of Mum she looked so happy.Thank you so much Karen and Thankyou for all the cuppa teas and food that you gave us so we could spend the last days of life with Mum.
My grandad moved into Chatsworth Grange in December just before Christmas and sadly passed away recently.nI had not seen my grandad for 3 months prior to the move to Chatsworth and I was so happy to receive video calls and be able to wave to him through his window.nThe manager, Bev, and her staff team go above and beyond and made us feel at ease knowing my grandad was being looked after. We could sleep at night knowing he was well cared for.nHighly recommended *****
We moved my mum to this home in November 2016 I have found the management and staff welcoming, helpful and approachable. Mum lives on one of the smaller units and her room is spacious and clean. She receives excellent care from dedicated, kind, staff who bring out the best in mum and she is quite content, I have no concerns about mums care.
My father in law more like my dad had his last year of his life here. The care was amazing, the staff lovely and very welcoming, no matter what time of day/night. Leanne was so helpful and went above and beyond to help after his death, and All the day staff and night staff equally, were absolutely brilliant and very professional, caring and respectful .. Thanyou so much
