The council leaves the lights on for their entire building over weekends and bank holidays (and keep the heating on judging by the heat coming from the windows) when no one is in, is unreasonable and impersonal to deal with in person, over the phone, and via email. If you wish to get something done regarding the council I recommend you see them in person or leave at least several weeks before you need a response.

I have had far better experiences with Cambridgeshire County Council where I grew up and am disappointed with the way the council seems to be run as a money making business rather than a governing body (didn't happen to me, but ticketing cars parked on closed side streets that had been driven by people paying their respects on Remembrance Day?!)
