This was just lovely. Loved the setting and the ambiance. Warmly welcomed by staff and were able to sit in the best seats in the window with a view over Truro shopping streets. Cream tea was served with ordinary scones and with gluten free scones - very tasty. Loved the whole experience and would recommend
You may wait a while for a table, but it is worth it. The food is always delicious and they have an extensive list of different teas and coffee. Never disappointed by the freshly baked cakes recommend the chocolate fudge cake.
What a Gem. It may take a while to be seated and for your order to be taken. But boy it’s definitely worth the wait. The cakes are amazing and the staff are working their socks off to keep you safe and make your visit enjoyable. Definitely be back

Lovely building....service good. Afternoon tea was overpriced and under delivered. Scones were heavy, cakes were average. Sandwiches ok. Had a lot better, would not recommend. Chris Herfordshire
Very good food service was friendly and efficient, definitely go again
Have been going here for years but really disappointed to arrive in a queue where no social distancing was in place and they still had the same amount of tables/chairs so people were far too close together. It's really not worth the risk so we left
