Our dinner here was honestly the highlight of our stay in Dublin. The staff was beyond friendly and the positive work environment was evident from the excellent service to the fantastic food. My husband is dairy and gluten free and the chef went above and beyond to provide a delicious meal for him… even checked on us personally to make sure he enjoyed it! The Chef was so friendly, in fact, when informed we’d bought him a drink as thanks, he bought our dessert in turn and created a fruit dessert that my husband was able to enjoy! 10/10 recommend! Beautiful views of the city and water as well!
Extra star for a warm chocolate brownie. I am not a big fan of desserts but tried their brownie and it was just amazing. They had freshly squeezed orange juice which was great. Loved the main courses too. The sauce with the sea bass was very tasty. It's an expensive restaurant but the food is really good.
We had two great meals at this restaurant! The staff, especially the gentleman at the bar, Mandy our amazing wait person and Ann Marie the manager so sorry if I got your name wrong were great. We had a beautiful table in the sunroom overlooking the water at sunset. We had two vegetarians at the table and the chef made a few adjustments so we were fed as well as the others! Highly recommend this lovely spot!
Food was good, I cannot fault it, very pricy but the service doesn't warrant the price. Had a booking for 5.15 and few minutes after finishing main course and after saying we won't have dessert, we have been told that we must clear the table as they have another booking at 7, I wonder what if we would have said we want dessert? I really felt insulted, not even during the pandemic I was asked to leave after 1 hour and 40 minutes... really bad service, felt like an extremely expensive canteen not being even able to enjoy all your wine. Never again!
I'm a Wedding Photographer, I get to eat out a lot best perk! and I had one of the most maybe even THE most amazing meals of my life while shooting in Charlotte's Quay on Friday night. Every course was a sensation, no exaggeration, especially the halibut & langoustines, with asparagus and gnocchi & fresh peas, oh sweet Jebus my mouth is watering at the memory. Also have to mention Ann-Marie and all the staff were so, so, so lovely and attentive - they could not have been more helpful to everyone. Such a nice atmosphere! Next time I'm in Dublin I can't wait to get back there.
First time coming here and the view onto Grand Canal Dock is fantastic. The service was also very good and friendly. The food wasn't super great unfortunately. The starter of beef croquette were tasty, but the main of hake was disappointing. The lobster bisque didn't have much flavour, and considering it's thinner than a sauce, you'd really want it to be more flavourful since it doesn't stick to the food much I wasn't given a spoon so wasn't sure if it was supposed to be eaten like soup. The hake was cooked okay, but everything else in the dish was submerged in bisque so lacked flavour. The dessert was poor - I ordered the apple crumble type dessert, and expected it to be warm like an actual crumble it was cold. Definitely more crumble than anything else, but the crumble was rock hard and dry.
My god I've never had food like this. Absolutely mouthwatering! Staff are so friendly, cocktails are fabulous and the ambience was just perfect. Will definitely be coming back here!
Loved the place even when it just opened - felt like a hidden gem with amazing view on the canal. Apart from evening wine, also had some good brunch options. But these days very hard to get a spot on Thursdays and Fridays.
Amazing food and drinks with view in Grand Canal. Excellent wine selection, the staff is amazing and will recommend the one that goes well with your food choice
A really disappointing service. It was suddenly raining like this could happen this time in Ireland. Therefore, we were looking for a dry stay in a restaurant and asked for a table. Yes, they had a lot of clients. But although there was enough space at the bar, one table free and another room completely free were we just could have a seat and drink a pint, they were unwilling to give us a table/seat. I was traveling a lot but never experience such a disappointing customer service.
