We booked the upstairs function room in Charlies for our little boys Christening Saturday just gone. From booking right through until the event nothing was too much trouble and Una the manager always quick to reply on messenger to any questions.nWe were able to bring in our own catering and cake and decorate the room beforehand.nThe staff are very friendly and it was great to have a bar person upstairs. No ones glass was empty for long.nWe had such an enjoyable day and being able to book Charlies just took the stress away. Everyone there had a glowing report of the day.nnThank you so much Una and the staff of Charlies. Well be back for the next occasion

This was not a problem!nUna & her team were very hospitable andnensured we all had a memorable time.nThe staff in Charlie's are very friendly andnalways look after their customers old &nnew with a smile! Charlie's bar alsonhas a great range of live music fromnTraditional Irish Music on a Sundaynevening to a great line up of talented localnmusicians on the weekends. I had my 21st birthday party at Charlie's Bar and it was an unforgettable experience! Special thanks to Paul and Debbie who were behind the bar and kept us going all evening. All it took was a message to Una, the Bar Manager, and Una took care of the planning!nnI would highly recommend booking Charlie's as a venue for any celebrations, as the stress of planning is taken out of your hands and you can relax with your family and friends instead of organising everything.nnMany thanks to Una and Charlie's Bar for the use of the upstairs lounge free of charge.nn- Charles Boyle.
Well if I could give it 100 for Atmosphere they get it.nLovely locals very chatty, nice drinks great music upstairs and downnDanced into Sunday and celebrated my wife’s birthday and got pulled into a hen party, great nightnGood Guinness, and baby Guinness went down too easy, x2 BMW’s cost £25 but were good. £10 taxi home was worth it
What a night. Thank you Una and the team for a lovely night celebrating our engagement. In the lead up to the event I asked if we could bring a wee buffet even though it was a late party 8pm they accommodated us they have a cold room which they were very generous in offering us to store the food prior to the event. The decorations we were able to set up prior to the event also. Honestly no question too stupid and they couldn’t have done anymore for us. Una came up and checked in with us. Plenty of staff behind the bar no one had an empty glass. Great entertainment, everyone was up dancing by 9pm and continued on throughout the night.nThank you again Una and please thank all the staff on our behalf for an incredible night.
