Lovely place, friendly staff, exceptional food. If you can go before or after the midday rush (~12:30-1:30ish). Around then a lot of people who work in Charlbury all go in at once to get a sandwich and it can get a bit busy.
The new building is absolutely great. It is clean, well decorated, There now a much greater range of food. Perhaps most significantly the cafe is spacious and at the front. While the food was great in the old building the cafe held it back (was a rather secluded small room at the back with only a few tables). This meant it wasn't really the kind of place to go for very long - the few times I ate in the old building I didn't feel like I wanted to hang around once I had finished.
The new building is a vast improvement. It has at least 10 tables, at the front of the Deli, and another, smaller, cafe section towards the back for people who want a bit more seclusion (seen parents with children go in there quite often). Its layout makes it the kind of place people are happy to sit for some time, relax, read the paper, chat with others course, drink coffee and eat.
Well worth popping in, even if its just out of curiosity (although I doubt you will want to leave empty handed).

We popped in here during our weekend in the Cotswolds and loved it. Great selection of drinks, food and the usual deli bits and pieces, and the staff were friendly too. Good atmosphere and mix of people in there and somewhat of a hub at the centre of Charlbury. We'll definitely be going back for more amazing coffee! Highly recommended.

Bit of a disappointment. The deli was lovely, however the 'cafe' was more like a couple of tables in a back room. Quite cramped. We had come in for breakfast, but the menu was incredibly limited - I ended up having a rather stale pan au chocolate. My friend who is gluten intolerant wasn't really able to have anything at all.
So, in short - would highly recommend the deli, but skip the cafe!

A nice place with some good offerings. However, it is in the process of moving down the road to a bigger building, so probably not at its best.
