My favourite lunch in the city. The fact there are multi-year regulars and a queue tells you everything but it moves fast - don’t worry! Especially recommended the curries. There’s a core menu and daily specials. Unlike the typical ‘machine assembly’ city lunch spots, food here is proper home-cooking style and servings are generous. Don’t miss it.
This is my new favourite place to visit for food in London. After touring around Vietnam years ago this food has truly taken me back to those days. Great customer service and the perfect veggie Pho soup
This is my favourite chicken curry in London. I’ve been there probably 300 times for lunch in ten years. If you don’t get there by 12 there will likely be a queue and in the summer a long one. But it’s because it’s so good. I can’t comment on any other dish. I’ve eaten the same dish over and over because it’s so good. I have introduced so many people to it and they now love it. You can eat in but I always take away. The service is fast and friendly. I have peanuts on top but you can have coriander and chilli as well but it’s just at the right level of spice itself so I can’t handle the chilli but if you’re a spice fan go for it. Honestly just go and have the chicken curry with rice. And take a loyalty card as you’ll go back!
Easily deserves 5*. Wonderful flavours and aromas, fast service to. Didn't even plan on coming here but when you see at least 20 people queuing out the door, and Londoners to, you know it's gonna be good. I had a rice combo box, chicken and pork with prawns on top, £10.95.Food: 5/5
Bit of a hidden gem for lunch in the City. Friendly service and the beef pho was absolutely classy. Really reasonable price too considering the portion size. I’ll be back!Food: 5/5
shiba door not very friendly door to the guests who sits on the counter my ex husband works around here so we had a quick meal tgt here… food is okay…..very fast food like our marriage.. same price can have better pho at other place Food: 4/5
Came here for a Friday lunch. It was not busy so I could take my time understanding the ordering process. I had wanted both bhan mi and pho. The pho is ready on a refrigerator shelf and they add the soup and heat up. It was the perfect serving and I enjoyed both very much!! I wish we had this in my village as I would order it so much! Also my village doesn’t have Vietnamese so coming to London I try a different place for pho not the chain Pho because they’re not that great tbh… this place I’ve enjoyed and hope others give them a try! I only have photo of the spicy beef pho as it was what I ate seated in their restaurant. The pork and shrimp bhan mi I ate while walking sites in London my it too was so delicious!
Super delicious chicken curry with rice. Good sized portion. Had to queue for 10-12 mins and this is not new for any good for outlets during lunch time. Would return.
Came here for lunch for a few times now. Quick and efficient service. There might be queues outside of the shop sometime but don’t be deterred by it. The lines moves quickly. I usually came for their spicy seafood pho and definitely see myself coming back for more. Remember to get the pho package from the fridge while you are waiting to be served, and then pass to the kitchen and let them know about your order.
Didn't have time to take a pic, get the Banh mi with all the spices and spiciness! The meat paste and crispiness of vietnamese baguettes is missing, but this place is still great quality, will be back next time i'm near blackfriars. Relatively cheap for london at £8 for a chicken banh mi. Dietary restrictions: Theyd cater, but it's vietnamese... it will have irritants
