Chain Reaction
Liz Haycraft opened Chain Reaction on Camden High Street in 1983 selling her own label clothes and accessories. At that time the High Street was still home to butchers and bakers (though we can't recall any candlestick makers), but Camden was already beginning to transform.
In 1991 Chain Reaction moved along the road to the new Camden Lock development, where you can still find us today. As Camden itself began to transform, so too did Chain Reaction and we moved on from clothes to glassware and then from plastics to inflatables until we arrived at a range of funny, surprising and unique gifts that keep all our customers smiling!
