I had a terrible experience here. Tried to refund an item (Samsung GearVR) marked Grade A as it smelled strongly of smoke, something you wear on your face shouldn't smell of smoke nor should it be grade A. The staff member took it in, 'tested' it for over an hour which is ridicolous for a refund. Lift it, smell it, that's the testing you need to do for this type of refund. Anyway I went back an hour later and they refused the refund ...because it, and I quote 'stank of smoke'. THE VERY REASON I RETURNED IT THEY REFUSED IT. The employee then said I didn't mention this, and that all I said was I didn't want it. Lies. Never in my life have I been accused of lying in a store. Not only this, they claimed they would never have accepted a trade in in this condition. So not only did they accuse me of lying. They accused me of getting the product in this condition. And they accused me of lying about the condition of the item when I originally bought it. Disgusting. Will never ever be back here. Had to go through a whole process of emailing them over and over to get the refund I was due. But after all this I was never once apologised too. They never once acknowledged any wrong doing.

My son bought a phone from them, one month on phone is not working. Had a reputable company look at the phone they said it was white screen common fault. Took it back to cex under guarantee they came back with an excuse that it was water damage and they could do nothing. Short fall is stay away........

Game wouldn't work and when I took it back the lassie said I'll clean it she went and spoke to the man she came back and cleaned the disc with a cloth I said I already done that she said I changed the disc but she never and gave me the same disc back even thou she said she changed it, absolutely fuming!!!!!!!

I had trouble trying to finding out the right sim card for my phone I emailed the store and they replied quite quickly apologising for any inconvenience they where very helpful and polite I recommend them highly u couldn't ask for better. Fr jean Harvey
