If you don’t have a lot of money but want to give the kids something to do then you can’t go wrong by visiting Central Park. There is a play ground, splash pad and some nice gardens if you just want a walk, plenty of open grassed space to have a kick about with a football or have a picnic. Easy to get to and with free parking there are toilets a small cafe selling drinks, snacks, sweets and ice cream (although seating is outside) and there is usually a ice cream van in the car park and bouncy castles from time to time at a cost. Well worth a visit if you don’t have much money to spend but want to get outside.

Wonderful green space in the middle of town. Perfect for dog walking, cycling, children's play area, local football. Lots of trees, birds and squirrels. Also a great place for Pokemon Go.

It's the best thing in Scunthorpe..beautiful gardens.. nice relaxing fountain.. although on a nice day.. expect to see nothing but drunks, weedheads and a whole plethora of it..

I love the park and green open spaces the only thing that I feel really lets it down from being a great park is the splash pad should open on hot days and the cafe and toilets should be open more.

Nice big park with plenty to keep kids amused for hours. Love going here in the summer. It has a nice little iron hut of sorts that sells drinks and food and they put chairs out in the warmer weather. There's usually an ice cream van there all day through summer and sometimes they have a bouncy castle and bouncy slide.
