As another said. You can’t claim your £1 back if you use JustPark app. Sadly this isn’t made clear on the signage.
There's a two hour limit here and it's not very big. It's right next to the Co op and a train station that ran steam trains. 5 min walk to the high Street. If you spend more than £10 at the Co op then you can reclaim for one hour which was something like £1.20.
It's a council car park next to the Coop supermarket. As a car park it's not too expensive £1.20 an hour but what's very annoying is that you have to pay even if you're just going shopping. In theory you can get a refund at the checkout but in practice you might just get the bum's rush. So that is a real buzz-kill.
Coop claims they will refund 1hr parking if you spend £10 in store. They WILL NOT do this if you pay through the Just Park app. Be warned.
It's quite easy to get into via the entrance. There are usually spaces in the low season but in the summer forget it. It's also cheaper low season and if you shop in the Co-OP you get a refund. I've seen 3 accidents here as some drivers don't look behind when reversing out of their spaces. Leaving is fairly straightforward through the specially designed exit. It does what most car parks do but just not as competently.
