Got there on a Friday evening and found it quite easy to find a spot, and the next morning at around 9 when again finding a spot was quite easy, but by the time we got back to the car at 1 it was rammed.nThere are some lovely views of the sea and pier.nI only noticed three disabled bays and to get to the car park you need to go through the town centre and up a hill which is fairly steep but not too bad.nA star knocked off as quite expensive to park in Swanage! Spent more on parking than on food
We parked there last weekend Jan 2022 with our campervan and it only cost £1 for 24 hrs, not sure how much it is in high season. The car park is perfectly situated as there are lots of beautiful walks from there and it’s close to Swanage center and beach. If you like walking I highly recommend to walk to Durlston Castle from there, a beautiful walk, which takes you along the SW coast path. There is lots to see and do for adults and children and great for dog walks, too.nAnother nice walk from the car park is to Peveril Point, where you can enjoy magnificent views across the English Channel.nThe car park is also not too far away from Swanage Railway Station where you can catch the steam train to Corfe Castle.

This isn't just a car park, it's a car park with a view and good for diversnnWriting reviews about car parks, whatever next. There's no service, nothing different, it's a car park. Oh yes, there is a stunning view from the car park especially at sunset when I didn't have my camera to hand.nnIt's great for the town centre, the downs, the beach and the pier. The main reason I use it is to park all my scuba gear in, you will often see divers walk to the pier from there.nnI normally get a 24 hour slot unless I'm only there for a short period.
Used this car park to go to swanage. Downloaded the app as recommended before we arrived but there was a station where you could pay cash or card without needing to use the app. Also Walked in the park at the back and the coast walk and could see Isle of Wight. Dogs enjoyed the walk. Couldn’t believe there was a wimpy in swanage thought I was back in the 80s.
