Great car park , nice view, easy access.
Beautiful views and not far to walk to the shops and pier, beware wheelchair users/disabled as it is a bit hilly there are some disabled spots in the high street which is where we parked most of our time here and this was all flat. Parking was £2.10 for one hour-well invested area so worth it to have a morning with plenty to do and see.
Such a beautiful silver Suzuki Vitata parked here on my last visit. The owner clearly had a rather worrying affection for their pride and joy, spotlessly clean and polished more than the toe caps of a Royal guardsman boots. For at least 35 minutes, I gazed at the flawless motor vehicle, looking for that single greasey finger print. A glimmer of excitment was quickly suppressed when what I thought was a stone chip, turned out to be a scratch on my own spectacles. I made regular return trips to witness this magnificent work of art for a second time, but alas to no avail. Maybe a local bird watcher or dog walker, who would return on a periodic basis, however not. Just the regular, mundane fiat, toyota and dacia now graces the spot where the heavenly vitara once made it's debut.
Got there on a Friday evening and found it quite easy to find a spot, and the next morning at around 9 when again finding a spot was quite easy, but by the time we got back to the car at 1 it was rammed.nThere are some lovely views of the sea and pier.nI only noticed three disabled bays and to get to the car park you need to go through the town centre and up a hill which is fairly steep but not too bad.nA star knocked off as quite expensive to park in Swanage! Spent more on parking than on food
