5 years past, me and my Anishinaabe wife had the privilege of wandering into one of the best hidden gems! T'was a Sunday, no shingle to be seen from the roadside. The sound drew us in alone! She was trepidatious; myself curious. Cheers to those who brought us in and made feel like family! Cheers to the barkeep that brought us to Brunston after the ol' lady couldn't stand true! Cheers to you all in Dailly! I love you all, be true!
I used to look forward going to the central bar for a wee dance and a karaoke, how ever I was there tonight to discover the back room has changed and not for the better and terrible dance music blaring, and no atmosphere. I liked the fact it was like and old pub that was a little dated and it should of stayed that way. No karaoke and rubbish late 90s dance music playing and no where to sit! I’m afraid the change is not for the better. And it showed as it was much quieter that’s how I remember it to be x
Great wee place. Shona the barmaid was fab, very friendly and we enjoyed our afternoon!

Warm welcome from the manager, well stocked bar, would definitely recommend dropping by for a drink or two. Hopefully people will still support places like Central Bar through this pandemic.

When back in the village I grew up in i head to the mid pub for a pint and some banter.
