Very enjoyable stay in a exceptionally clean and modern lodge situated within 10 minutes of the central Village and Subtropical Pool, lodge 334. This was our second visit having been for the first time in 2025 and it did not disappoint inside. Both bedrooms ensuite, fully equipped kitchen but no washing machine. Our party included 3 adults and a 5 & 1 year old. We upgraded to a Grand Lodge this year having been in a cheaper odge last year, mainly because there was an outside heated pergola in the grand and nothing in the last lodge. Unfortunately the Pergola had broken so we were given a £50 refund in a gift card. We rarely sat outside due to tall nettles lining the whole patio area which meant our 1 year old toddler was constantly at risk of falling into these prickly bushes. We hired 3 bikes and a trailer for £184 Monday-Friday, costly but fun, bike racks outside your lodge, helmets, locks, choice of bikes included in price. Lots of places to park up, bikes seemed very safe as everyone doing the same thing. On one day we booked a Cabana beach hut for 3 hours approx £80 around the pool just have the privacy, included towels, soft drinks, TV well worth it. Booked an outside cinema, loved the ambience, soft drinks and pop corn included, bar also. Lots of wildlife, very friendly and helpful customer service, as a family we felt safe. We will definitely be back.
Absolutely loved it here - walked miles through the trees. Beautiful setting, great for children riding their bikes. Lovely having the squirrels & geese at the patio doors - waiting to be fed. Spent loads of money though - some activities really expensive - but had an excellent meal at Las Iguanas. Pool absolutely brilliant
Went for a long weekend and stayed in one of the newly updated forest lodges. Really great accommodation, the bedrooms were great sizes, especially the twin room, and there was an extra fridge in the kitchen which is very useful as the fridges are pretty small. We had an interactive games room and table football which our 7 year old loved. The outdoor seating has been upgraded too so it was comfy to sit outside. Our pergola was broken and the staff kindly gave us a gift voucher to use during our stay which was a lovely thoughtful touch.nThe park is great. We have been to most of the other locations and thisnone is by far our favourite. The layout in the village works really well and it feels like there is a lot more here than at the other parks not sure if that is true, but thats how it feels. All of the staff we encountered were really lovely and friendly and a special nod to Hucks who made our daughter's birthday extra special with a gift and cake.nSome of the activities are very reasonably priced, while others do seem a little pricey, but there are plenty of affordable things to do.
Great place for all the family, lots to do and see.nGrandkids loved the tropical swimming pool with its slides and wave pool. We had a cabana for 8 on one day, well worth the spend.nThe tree adventures and zip wires were a big hit with those tall enough to use them. The smaller version was great for the smaller kids.nIn the heat it would have been nice to have some sort of cooling system and a larger freezer.nThe ovens in both our lodges would have been better being replaced by either an airfryer or a multipurpose microwave.nNot everyone can afford to eat out all the time and waiting over an hour for a pizza to cook was a bit frustrating.nHaving said that it was a great experience and I'm sure as Sherwood is the oldest parc that upgrades might be in the pipeline.nThe kids loved the squirrels, ducks and geese visits each day. Their granddad was disappointed there were no deer, like there were in Woburn... but what can ya do? Haha!
We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Centre Parcs Sherwood Forest and had an amazing time from start to finish. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, giving us a great balance of privacy and easy access to all the facilities.nThe whole park was beautifully maintained, and being surrounded by nature made it easy to switch off from everyday life. We especially enjoyed the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, which kept everyone entertained for hours, and there was plenty to do for all ages throughout our stay.nThe staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt well organised. Whether we were walking through the forest, enjoying family time, or simply relaxing at the lodge, every day created memories we'll look back on fondly.nA brilliant family break that left us feeling refreshed and recharged. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
