Story

Celino’s Italian Deli Café was established in 1982. My dad, Natalino Celino, the founder of the business, is no longer involved on a daily basis. However, his presence is still felt strongly, not only through the family photographs on the walls, but in the values that are at the heart of Celino’s. His belief that Celino’s products should never be cheapened by sub standard ingredients holds firm today. Whether it’s the Stornoway Black Pudding in your full Scottish Breakfast, the San Danielle Parma Ham in your Panini, or the fresh calamari and langoustine in your Spaghetti allo scoglio we strive to provide the very best for our customers.

Looks good from the outside, went in and they were busy. Asked for a table but they were full. Fair enough but when the guy smugly said "I'm always busy", turned his back on me & walked off I decided that I would never bother him again. Maybe he could have given me an idea of how long it might be, asked if I'd like to sit outside where the sun was shining and maybe have a drink while I waited. 

If you want to eat here it seems you should plan ahead and not bother if you're passing. Enjoy being busy while it lasts, with an attitude like that it probably won't

Went to Pizza East on Duke Street instead. Great service, excellent pizza and cheap as, er, chips. Result.

Beautiful Italian food in this East End establishment. I was unlucky enough to have a dish that wasn't the best but everyone else I was with had a good brunch serving. The staff are great. It's often busy in here so you will need to book.

1st time here and probably had the best meal in a while..... nice atmosphere and very friendly staff and very reasonably priced food....daughter loved the Mac n Cheese with panacotta.... definitely be back... booked off the cuff at 7.30 on a Saturday and they were full apart from a table for 2 in line of the door.... we were told it might be a bit draughty but it was fine.... thanks for a great meal guys see you again soon.

I called to pay for deserts for my mum and sisters who where going there to celebrate Mothers Day. I live in Canada and so I couldn't be with them. The staff members that I spoke to over the phone were all lovely and very helpful.

I ate here yesterday. My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza (Il padrino for him and Margherita for me) and we both agreed that it was the worst pizza we had ever eaten. No consistency, tasteless sauce, tasteless mozzarella, tasteless seasoning. Despite this, the worst thing was the oil (which tasted sweetish). The service was slow but good. Staff was kind. The food though was terrible. We will not come back anymore (first and last time)
and if we could have put zero stars we would have done it .
