This takeaway is brilliant the food is fresh and the chicken tikka byriani is to die for, the portions are amazing, one curry feeds 2 no problem. RECOMMENDED DEFO.

😡 We have ordered from here several times and tonight I dished out two chicken tikka masala dishes to find 6 peices of meat in one dish and five in the other! Knowing this is not a normal portion I called the shop. The guy on the phones response "Six peices? No that isn't possible...We do this day in, day out and never give six peices" basically calling me a liar! I pointed out that if he checked he'd see we were regular customers and that I have never called once with a complaint! He said, "No, No, No" several times basically saying there wasn't only six peices of meat, I WAS THE ONE STANDING LOOKING AT THE DISH!!! I WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN AS THEY SCREW UP AND ORDER AND CALL THE CUSTOMER A LIAR!! Oh and the sauce was all over the bag and the tubs, the bag was soaked, but not something I mentioned as I hung up on the clown!! Money down for a full dish and only received a crappy kids portion! NEVER AGAIN!

Just TRIED to eat ( inedible ) a bhuna lamb and it was the worst curry I have ever come across. There was not one piece of meat which was edible. Everything had to be deposited in the recycling bin. Not quite sure why I gave it as high as 1 star. Won't be using the Clay Oven again.

I had high hopes for this place as they assured me they concentrated only on curry's! Well I was pretty disappointed as it was very overbearing of spices, I don't mean hot but just way too many spices and why oh why so much ginger...far too much in the curry base sauce. It was like having a ginger curry! and no I didn't order a ginger curry. So the same as everywhere else in and around Glasgow needs to have far less root ginger and far less spices, I don't meant hot I mean less spices, the curry's here, in and around Glasgow are too harsh. The curry sauce should be a gentle vegetable flavour for all the curries other than of course madras, vindaloo ie the hot curry's but all the other curry's should be a gentle vegetable flavour and of course some spices but not overly done with spices otherwise the curry becomes too harsh and overbearing with spices. You should also not be able to taste the ginger in curry either which here and all other places in and around Glasgow you can! A sure sign that too much ginger has been added to the base sauce of a curry is if you can taste the ginger in the curry. If you want a good balanced curry sadly you have to go all the way to Edinburgh or England, the closest place to Glasgow that does a good curry is Bangla Kitchen in Edinburgh then most Indian Restaurants/take aways in Carlisle in England and of course most places in England. The chilli sauce was not chilli sauce it was a sweet sauce....tasted like it had mango chutney, tomato ketchup, sugar and yogurt in it or atleast some of those things? Thats not how chilli sauce is made, chilli sauce should not have ANY of those things in it, chilli sauce should be made with : Salt Pepper Chilli Turkish Mutti Passata Onions Peppers Celery All cooked together and then blended. Hopefully these things can be added/changed :)
