I use the Watton Branch. The staff here are all very helpful. Grateful thanks to Neil for his patience and kindness in sorting my poor eyesight out. Thankyou also to Ellie, The manageress and Amber for their help. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
What a fabulous service I had today. Everyone was so helpful. Can not praise them enough. Thank you all, and a special thank you to Louise for helping me pick my new glasses and fixing my old ones. Your patience is boundless! I realise you may be a bit more expensive, but in my view you get what you pay for. I had a free hearing test too. Feel reassured with the professional expertise. Money well spent. Thanks again.
From making my appointment to choosing my glasses everyone was so friendly, helpful and efficient. Great choice of products and all details explained fully. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Staff are SO rude and patronising! Not the first bad experience I have had with this company at 2 different branches. Have also been refused my daughter’s prescription so we can go elsewhere. Will go back to the hospital and find a different company. Way over priced too!
I had appointment with Molly to potenially clean out my ears. On Inspection no build up was found so no work was undertaken and I wasnt charged. Impressed by honesty and professionalism of all involved.
First time visiting a Cecil Amey store and me and my husband visited the watton branch for a advanced eye test. Everyone was very helpful and nice to us. The lady at the desk was really nice and took our scans for us and the optometrist was really nice as well and very thorough checking our eyes. On this occasion I didn't need a new prescription and my husband didn't need glasses again! But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend based upon the high level and quality of service :
Once again after many years of service, Cecil Ameys have been fantastic. The staff are professional yet friendly. They need congratulating, especially Amber who always goes the extra mile.
A very professional, friendly team of people who have always looked after me and my son brilliantly! Always welcoming and explain what they are doing fully. The manager of the shop, Lisa, was very quick to tell me that I had an ulcerated eye when I saw her, and made me got to A&E immediately. She probably saved my sight in that eye. Cannot recommend this business enough.
My gran bought one pair of glasses from here Watton that were over £400. About 18 months later, she started to experience headaches and dizzy spells and was put on medication. However, after looking at her glasses, the coating had become incredibly wrinkled and was peeling in places. She took these back to the optician as, considering the price, she wanted them re-coated or at least have some money refunded. She was told that they were only guaranteed for a year so no-can-do. The lady assisting her said she was surprised the optician had recommended this pair of glasses because her prescription hadn't changed very much, so the new glasses were in fact pointless... And her next appointment was for 2 years afterwards. They sold her expensive glasses that weren't needed or guaranteed to last until her next appointment. She's back to wearing her old glasses and has no headaches/dizziness she doesn't take the medication. I really recommend shopping around for glasses as they can be so expensive. Unfortunately my gran has been dependent on this local optician for years because she can't travel far and doesn't drive. Such a shame to think how many others are like her and trust the local high street store when the quality and service doesn't justify the inflated costs.
I had an appointment at the Quiet Clinic organised by Lisa who made me feel relaxed and happy to be there, nothing was too much trouble. Elizabeth also kept me from being anxious whilst doing the eye test. I found the appointment very friendly and professional. Similarly Luke who provided me with hearing aids. A really excellent service, thank you.
