Just had dinner here. My wife purchased an itison deal for two main courses for ten pounds. We upgraded to include starters and a bottle of wine for £47 including deal. Great tasty food and wonderfully fast service from a young waiting staff of three. Very attentive and polite. 5 stars
Despite booking in advance, ended up in the most remote table possible, the husband, being tall couldn't really get in, I moved the table toward me, slightly uncomfortable. Starter very disappointing, obviously one mushroom used between two of us. Main course: husband enjoyed it. I got two, yes two meatballs and cost almost 11 quid. And please chef, drain the spaghetti, totally starch ridden and no salt obviously used. Nah. Was always a great fan of this franchise, and have been a patron of the Prestwick branch since it opened. But, definitely won't be back.
There was a group of 8 of us came for dinner and drinks we celebrated my mum's surprise 60th. We had come from Glasgow, Paisley, Beith, Kilbirnie, Renfrew and Troon. Age range was 39-70. Meal was great but it didn't feel very welcoming. We had a few belly laughs at the table there was no swearing / shouting but we felt as if we got a few stares. I don't know if i would be happy to visit again to be honest. It took a lot of time to decide where to go for something to eat I have previously only been to Elliots for dinner / drinks - we went by reviews/recommendations. We did all enjoy our food and our 2 drinks each... We had to ask for the 2nd round, we weren't asked at any point if we would like another - no-one had been drinking prior to dinner either.. If you would like somewhere quiet where u can eat with minimal noise/discussion then this is the place to go.
Didn't enjoy my experience at all....the two staff members that day looked fed up - only served when asked! They could see I was alone with 3 kids had ordered myself a wine with food but within a few minutes and one sip I accidentally spilt it! It was an accident as I ended up spilling it on my kids and the seats they were sitting on....the two members of staff could see I was panicked and profusely apologetic, the male waiting staff did help wipe up but even when I suggested "shall we move..?" He said "no its fine " the restaurant was empty! Forget customer service to say they will give me another wine as this spilt by accident...I only got another one by asking. Food however was delicious 10 out of 10. When I received the bill with mints the same man could hear the kids asking for the lollipops in a jar at the bar - this was ignored. When I asked I have been charged for two wines, I was rudely told " the wine wasn't spilt by us"! I didn't pay over £40 in this restaurant to get a free wine - it was just the customer service aspect of it! Before leaving I had to ask and help myself to the lollipops - I left the complimentary mints on the table. I have dined at many restaurants in Prestwick and I enjoy the customer service but this is the first time I have been dissatisfied.
Birthday dinner for my husband. Quiet midweek night. Service friendly and attentive. Food delicious with decent portions including from the children's menu.
The best cooked and presented italian meals cooked to perfection and lacking nothing!!! Served hot in a clean stylish modern restaurant . Many many others could learn from this place i visit everytime in area maybe twice a year and never let down!!!
Very good food, nice service we were only in for a quick meal would be great to spend a evening.
We as a family have enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner at Cecchini's Prestwick for several years now but last night was a disappointment. Your staff were polite up until the children's ice cream was delivered and the strawberry from the top of one fell on to mum's skirt along with some of the ice cream. No apology was offered and no cloth was provided to wipe it up. Our booking was for 4pm and at 5.55 pm we were asked to vacate the table as there was another booking for that table. Had we had our full three courses that would not have been enough time. Very disappointing visit.
