One the whole a nice place. The system of ordering a carvery and then waiting to be called up is a bit strange. We actually waited over half and hour. The idea of a carvery is really to avoid waiting.
Very clean,nice quiet atmosphere. Excellent coffees and tea cakes
Overpriced, crockery is dirty. The scone looks like it came out of a GM factory. Cash only during pandemic then lady laughed at me for paying with change ????? very strange experience. Disappointing.

Brilliant food. Home cooked cusine. Will go again. Also passed the husband test. And he will go again too
Great little café, we chose the small breakfast and tea . Enough of the usual components to satisfy the appetite. The quality is grand and the tea comes in a teapot which is always a bonus. Service is quick, and the staff are friendly, it'sworth noting that it is a Cash Only operation.
A welcoming place to eat after a days shopping. I had the small pork dinner, plenty of meat and good choice of veg. Highly recommended. They also have a specials board.
It was OK, the food we had was alright but nothing special. Seemed very popular at lunchtime, so they must be doing something right. Staff seemed confused whether it was table service or order at the counter on that day. Chef chatty and pleasant serving carvery.
