I usually stay in Lichfield when it's time to attend Bloodstock Open Air Festival in August, and this is a must in the morning for a full english. Big portion and tasty food, friendly and professional staffFood: 5/5

It was very close to four stars but not quite there. Wouldn't use this place normally but wife given gift vouchers. I had the farmhouse breakfast and she the eggs benedict. Place is much bigger than it looks from outside and has a garden area. Went on a Tuesday morning and was about half full. Took around 15-20 minutes for food to arrive, was asked if we wanted our coffee now or with our food, went for the latter but was brought to our table after about ten minutes saying food was coming now, however, finished our drinks way before food arrived. Food was OK, certainly plenty of it but with a price tag in excess of £20 would expect no less. Wife found that there was far too much benedict sauce on hers which swamped the dish, mine was a straight forward breakfast, well presented but just not to my taste and ended up leaving a fair amount, not that I wasn't hungry, just not right for me. Maybe I am a "value for money" heathan but would have preferred Weatherspoons around the corner. I am sure the argument would have terms like "fresh" and "quality produce" and it certainly was a better ambiance, but the cost would have been a fair few quid cheaper, with unlimited coffee which appeals more than nicely painted walls.
I love the place, staff it's amazing, really kind and helpful, food really good, one of the best breakfast I ever had, highly recommend!!!Food: 5/5
Moved to Lichfield 8 months ago, tried verious cafe's and farm shops for breakfast. But this one tops them all. Absolutely brilliant breakfast. Won't eat for the rest of the day Best yet
